The Jean Monnet Group on Competence and Development has many remarkable linkages based on professors and researchers contact networks that completed their formation on Universities and international institutions (Michigan State University, University of Quebec in Outaouais, , European University Institute in Florence, Institute for Prospective Technological Studies -a Joint Research Center, European Commission , etc.) as well as frequent stays of its researchers in universities like Harvard, Food Products Marketing Institute-Philadelphia-, University of Texas at Austin – Institute of Innovation, Creativity and Capital, IC2 -, Strathclyde University, University of Reading, Aarhus University etc.).

The main research lines, projects, conferences and stays in other universities are described in the different concepts of this section, although it should be remarked that the increase of the number of relations with galician, spanish and international researchers is a result of the incorporation of the grupo to the strategic agrupation of the Galician University System, ECOBAS (Economics and Business Administration for Society), of the University of Vigo, whom main researcher is professor Carlos Hervés.
